Position Purpose

Provide support to the Advancement Services staff.
The Office of Advancement Services maintains an accurate database of alumni, friends and other stakeholders of Belmont University. The office is responsible for prospect research and the recording and receipting of gifts. This is a day-time position with flexible hours between 8:00 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday. This position allows students an opportunity to develop “resume-building” data management skills.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Student must be detail oriented and self-directed, have ability to learn administrative software program (Banner) and maintain confidentiality of Belmont records. Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.

Education

Must be enrolled as a current student at Belmont University

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Sedentary work. Constantly requires sitting, repetitious finger and wrist movement, speaking clearly.
